64th Annual Grammy Awards: Rap/R&B award winners

The 64th annual Grammy Awards were held on Sunday, hosted by Trevor Noah and airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on CBS.

Among the night’s big winners in the rap/R&B music categories were Tyler, the Creator, who took home the Best Rap Album trophy for his album “Call Me If You Get Lost”, beating out Kanye West, Nas and J. Cole to win his second Grammy in this category. The album of the year was won by singer Jon Batiste for his eighth studio effort “We Are”.

Kanye West earned his 23rd and 24th Grammy Award, winning two trophies this year. Ye won Best Rap Song Grammy for his Jay-Z collaboration “Jail” and also won Best Melodic Rap Performance for his track “Hurricane” featuring The Weeknd and Lil Baby.

Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar took home the Best Rap Performance trophy for their collaboration “Family Ties”, defeating Cardi B, J. Cole, Drake and Megan Thee Stallion.

Silk Sonic, the duo of Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars won the Grammys in three categories for their single “Leave The Door Open“. They won Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best R&B Song category.
