ABC/Randy HolmesTinashe isn’t done teasing fans just yet.
On Tuesday, the “Flame” singer posted a teaser of what appears to be images from her new music video on Instagram. She unveiled the titles to two of three forthcoming new tracks on Instagram on Friday.
In the caption for the new visual she writes, “On my way…2 more days.” The video shows the recording artist cruising around in the desert with a group of people, set to an instrumental background track.
She also tweeted to fans about her upcoming TRL appearance on Thursday after dropping the teaser video. “TEAM TINASHE NYC — I’ll be at MTV @TRL Thursday when my new music drops, pull up on me! Issa celebration,” she writes.
Tinashe’s been dropping hints of new music since late December, starting with another cryptic Instagram message unveiled that month featuring a picture of herself in front of a laptop, seated next to what looks like a recording mic and a pair of headphones.
The caption for that photo read, “…almost time,” with an hourglass emoji.
After that message, she posted a video of television sets, some on and others off, arranged in blocks stacked one on top of another, and once again used the caption “…almost time” and an hourglass emoji.
Tinashe’s debut album, Aquarius, came out in 2014 and she debuted a surprise mixtape titled Nightride last year. She also released new songs in 2017: “Joyride,” “Superlove,” “Company” and “Flame.”
