It’s safe to say that Solange had an adventurous New Year’s Eve. The singer revealed via Instagram that she and her husband, Alan Ferguson, and some friends went camping in southeast Cali’s Joshua Tree National Park.
The singer celebrated with a bottle of Jack Daniel’s. “Good friends, mountain valleys, kombucha cocktails, Carl Thomas jams, desert hikes, ‘have I never ever’ fails, crop tops, Spanish food and so many, many tings,” Solange wrote in the caption. “Trip filled with laughs, pop lock and drop its, peaceful reflections, but best of all …….love! Thanks @shelterco for setting up Camp “Turn Up Tipi”….. !”
Solo even brought along a reflective coat and posted an Instagram video of her best robot dance. “I’m still turnt. I’m still a tin man. I’m still sleeping in a tee pee. 2015 goes hard. #turnupteepee,” she wrote.
This year will see the release of Solange’s first album for her newly-launched label, Saint Records. The upcoming set also will be her first studio project since 2008’s Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams.
