Trae Patton/NBCPharrell Williams is getting animated. The “Happy” singer will be making a cameo appearance on The Simpsons next month, according to Entertainment Weekly.
In the February 8 episode of the Fox animated comedy, titled “Walking Big & Tall,” the city of Springfield learns their official city song is actually a carbon copy of many other cities’ official song.
“Pharrell offers to write a new anthem for the town,” said The Simpsons executive producer Al Jean.
Pharrell’s animated self will be wearing his infamous Vivienne Westwood-designed brown hat. The Simpsons is currently in its 26th season.
