RCA RecordsJamie Foxx seems to be shifting his focus back to his music career. Following the release of his 2 Chainz-assisted single, “Party Ain’t A Party” last year, a a catchy tune called “Pretty Young Thing” has surfaced.
The DJ Mustard-produced song, which leaked online, is sure evoke nostalgia — the tune is built around a hook from Michael Jackson’s classic, “P.Y.T,” lifted from 1982’s Thriller.
“I want to love you, pretty young thing/ your heart’s been everywhere, but I got a jones for ya,” Jamie sings over the trap beat.
While its unclear if the song will appear on his long-awaited album, Foxx is busy recording his first album since 2010’s Best Night of My Life.
