Universal Music GroupMelanie Fiona has debuted a reggae-inspired number called “Bite the Bullet,” the newest offering from her forthcoming independent album, Awake.
In the Caribbean-flavored tune, Melanie falls victim to a dangerous love. “I guess I’ll bite the bullet/ Or stop playing with loaded guns,” she belts.
Prior the releasing the song, Melanie seemingly cautioned fans to fall in love with discretion. “See the thing about guns is, they don’t always work in your favour. Like when you get shot in the face after being acquitted of murder. Xo,” she tweeted.
Awake is due out later this year via Title 9 Productions/Primary Wave Music/BMG.
