Lloyd Bishop/NBCLauryn Hill has been selected to headline this year’s Afropunk Fest, an annual event taking place later this summer.
Organizers have announced the singer will take the stage when the two-day festival kicks off on August 22 through 23 at Brooklyn’s Commodore Barry Park. She will be joined by Danny Brown, Kelis, Lenny Kravitz and Grace Jones, among others.
Unlike past years when concert-goers could attend for free, this year tickets will be available for purchase to support the festival’s new initiative called the Afropunk Army.
Tickets range from $45 to $150 for VIP passes; you can score tickets now.
