The song is a battle cry for females, reminding them, as well as men, of the strength, beauty and glory that women possess.
“Woman, woman. Got a whole lotta nerve, she the flame and the fire. Woman, woman. She’s a lover, and a fighter, and a king and a mother,” she sings.
The talented artist performed “Woman” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert Tuesday night. Earlier this month, Gordon also revealed that she wrote several tracks on Beyoncé‘s critically acclaimed visual album, Lemonade.
