Paras Griffin/Getty ImagesSir the Baptist is continuing to raise hell with a new music video for his song “What We Got.”

The visual overlays the song’s powerful lyrics about being grateful for “what we got” with historical images of Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X.

Sir imagines visiting the president at the White House to discussthe economy, which he explains the song addresses and hopes will be a topic of importance within the black community.

“It’s talking about economics, business, the betterment of global issues and other things that’s important to the community. And to teach it in a very small…in small pieces. For example, if you listen to the lyrics, I say ‘If I could be anything, I would be the little engine in the hood.’ And I’m referencing the engine for economic growth,” he says.
