Dick Clark ProductionsTonight’s 2016 American Music Awards will feature highly anticipated performances by The Weeknd,John Legend and Nicki Minaj as well as Ariana Grande.
DJ Khaled will perform his hit single “Do You Mind” alongside Minaj, August Alsina, Future and Rick Ross, while Kendrick Lamar is scheduled to close the show with pop rock band Maroon 5 with the group’s single “Don’t Wanna Know.”
In addition to performing, The Weeknd is nominated for three awards — in the categories of Artist of the Year, Favorite Male Artist — Pop Rock and Favorite Soul/R&B Male Artist.
Future received two nods — for Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Artist and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album for his joint studio project with Drake, What a Time to Be Alive.
Drake leads with thirteen nominations.
The AMAs will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 20 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Here are all of the nominees:
