August Alsina has been rolling out singles in advance of his forthcoming third studio album, and the lasts is a heavy-hitter called “Lonely.”
The song, which samples The Stylistics 1971 classic soul ballad “You Are Everything,” details his desire to make things right with a girl he hopes he doesn’t have to call twice.
It follows up prior new singles “Drugs” and “Wait.”
Alsina’s new album is scheduled to be released later this year.
