Sasha SamsonovaCandice Boyd‘s new single, “Make Me Over,” is a soaring ballad for anyone who’s ever felt doubtful of their beauty and confidence in a relationship.
Reflecting on a past love, she sings, “I started wearing more makeup/Trying to look like someone else/Trying to make you happy/When making you happy/Is making me hate myself.”
The R&B artist, who recently hit the road with Ro James on his XIX tour, is signed to Ne-Yo’s Compound Entertainment label imprint.
