Bryson Tiller strives to “come out of his shell more” for Set It Off tour

RoleXXBryson Tiller fans can now buy the singer’s chart-topping album, True to Self, everywhere ahead of the start of his Set It Off Tour, which surprisingly gives him a chance to overcome his self-proclaimed shyness.

Bryson tells ABC Radio that he’s “trying to come out of my shell more” while on the road. “That’s the main issue of me as an artist,” he says.

The “Somethin Tells Me” artist continues, “I never really wanted to be an artist, so, I’m just trying to figure out how to be an artist. And I don’t mean just like an artist making music, ’cause I do that all day. But actually doing things that artists do, like going on tour and meet and greets and just being personable.”

If you’re planning to see Bryson on tour this summer, you should know he gives his best onstage performances when fans come to his shows with heaps of energy.

He says, “If it’s their favorite song, I’m excited about performing it. If somebody goes crazy in the front row about, I don’t know, “High Stakes” or something, I’m just like, ‘Wow. He really loves this song.'”

Bryson goes on: “So I’ll just feed off his energy, and that’ll make me enjoy a performance just because however he feels about the song is how I felt when I first made the song.”

Bryson’s Set It Off Tour kicks off August 3 in Atlanta, Georgia.  An additional date in has been added at the historical Greek Theatre in Los Angeles for August 14.
